Banana Chocolate Chip Bread (Adapted from Sheri Butterfield's Banana Nut Bread)

I got this recipe from Scott's grandma, Grandma Max.  We really love this banana bread and make it as Christmas gifts for our neighbors.  In 2013, one neighbor said, "Oh, yay!  I love your bread!  I am going to keep it a secret from my family that you came."  It is also really simple.  Enjoy!

Preheat oven to 350.

3/4 C butter
1 C sugar
2 eggs
3 large bananas
2 C flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
3/4 C chocolate chips

Cream together butter, sugar and eggs.  Add bananas.  Then add flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.  Stir in chocolate chips.  

For regular loaves: separate batter evenly between two pans.  Bake for 1 hr at 350. 

For mini loaves: separate batter evenly between 4 loaf pans (I use 5 3/4 x 3 inch pans).  Bake for 35-40 minutes  (290g batter per pan).

(To make into banana nut, omit chocolate chips and add 1 C nuts).
